STORMBRINGER, the band behind Australia’s Premier Deep Purple Show (Tribute Show), formed late 2004 from a group of seasoned industry professionals.
The five members of the band; Chris Hillis (Drums), Geoff Marquis (Lead Guitar/Vocals), Darren Russell (Bass Guitar/Vocals), Doug Berge (Keyboards) & Andy Garard (Lead Vocals) have over 20 years professional experience both in the studio and playing live.
They have performed in some of Australia’s most highly regarded professional outfits. These include: VIRGIN SOLDIERS, STEELETTO, RAW DIAMOND, WOLF, NASTY HABITS, PEGASUS, NICE BOYS, NO MERCY and so on...
The guys have played regular GiGs at various venues throughout the Melbourne ROCK circuit. They have also appeared at various Festivals, Events, Regional & Interstate performances and a recent Guinness World Record attempt hosted by the Hard Rock Cafe at the Melbourne Exhibition Buildings with over 700 people in attendance.
